flipper!
This past weekend I went dolphin watching off the coast of Ilan, which is in east Taiwan. Our boat first did a lap around Turtle Island, then continued east, where a fleet of tour boats were looking for dolphins.
These fuckers were really tough to shoot - they move about really quick, and I ended up at the ship's bow, which was bouncy bouncy bouncy. The ship's rear was more stable - but that's where all the sick people were vomiting, so that was a no go. http://www.chezwang.com/photos/dolphins.jpg http://www.chezwang.com/photos/dolphins2.jpg http://www.chezwang.com/photos/creek.jpg |
Wow...some great shots there.
The second one I can see as a print on the wall. Just trim the top and bottom so you have a short but wide frame. Very nice. |
Well done BN!

So Yilan's nice then? I've heard good things, but never gone out there myself.

thank you thank you
hopefully I'll get some time tonight to photoshop a bit - too tired to deal with that last night. Ilan was nice ... great scenery, a nice change from Taipei, and only an hour away. Do you eat seafood? That's about the best thing about the place, unless you are satisfied visiting crowded, touristy nature spots. |
Mmm, no, I'm vegetarian. Oh well, I'll probably go anyway sooner or later.

That glen in the 3rd picture looks like one of those misty places in a Kung Fu movie. Nice job.

dolphin?

There's a land dolphin in there somewhere...
Hey...aren't those actually sharks? :D |
Chinese Sharks and Dolphins are inscrutable. ;)
|
Hey, no one here wants to have sex with them, anyway.
