Bucuresti, Romania

Hi! I'm from Romania. Just letting you know.
Is this the first non-US city represented on the Cellar?

Irony is that I'm not representative at all of my country/city ;)

Bucuresti (also known as "Bucharest" to some english speakers) is the capital of Romania, in Eastern Europe (more like South-Central Europe, if you look at the map).

No. There are people on here from (IIRC) Canada, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Brazil, Germany, Sweden, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates. Canada and Australia are probably the best represented. You ARE the first person that I've seen on here from Romania though. :)

Cool, stick around and watch The Cellars tentacles creep across the planet absorbing culture after culture. Hows Nadia?

It took some time before I could understand that cryptic reference...
If you're refering to Nadia Comaneci, she's a bureaucrat at the Youth and Sports Ministery, if I remember correctly. ;)

Did she go back to Romania then? When she defected to the US in the late 80s, that was big news.

Today, Nadia and her husband Bart Connor, an American gymnast whom she married in Bucharest in 1996, own a gymnastics club in Norman, OK, and are editors of International Gymnast magazine.
