I feel bad for this guy. He's facing up to 70 years in prison, which is a life sentence, just for snooping around in some computer files. He didn't break anything or sell anything he found. What he did was wrong, and I don't condone it, but 70 years seems way out of whack with the severity of his crime. There is no victim here.

I agree... the feds are spying on innocent Americans, breaking the law more times than any of us can count, taking a dump on the foundation of this nation and the deaths of all vets every day, but this guy deserves a life sentence for looking at pictures from NASA missions? I don't think so.

If they were smart they'd use him to find out how the plug the leaks. After all he is unemployed/unemployable, he'd probably work cheap.

McKinnon: I knew that governments suppressed antigravity, UFO-related technologies, free energy or what they call zero-point energy. This should not be kept hidden from the public when pensioners can't pay their fuel bills.
WN: Did you find anything in your search for evidence of UFOs?
Instant insanity defense. If the government refuses to accept it, they run the risk of having people believe they might actually have some of this stuff.

They are going to want this one to go away.

Of course if they did have the technology, the probably would suppress it.;)

If they want it to go away, why pursue extradition this long? Get him over here where they can debrief/deprogram him?
