That was over Ten years ago, Bruce. I would hope they have more restraint today.

Most cops say they want to be cops to "help people," but I think they get off on the power, of "being" the strong arm of the law. But then again, would you want John Lennon-types to be cops?

Yeah, that's what the Supreme Court says, but I don't believe it. If anything they are more violent, because when they do run into resistance, it's more violent.
The trouble with this escalation is those of us in the middle, get to suffer that attitude also.:worried:
