What!?? Sweeeeeet!!
I thought the USB warming gloves or the USB oil burner were the bees knees - but now there is this?

p.s. Zippy - I don't know what your licking smiley has to do with a turntable.

Oh wait.......

$139 at Amazon?
I just looked, and it's $224.99.
CircuitShitty says they carry it, but it's not in stores, and not available on the site.:(

richlevy 05-11-2006 07:26 PM

$114 at buy.com but they're out of stock.

xoxoxoBruce 05-11-2006 09:43 PM

Sure, I'll sell you one for $10..... but I don't have any.

footfootfoot 05-12-2006 09:57 AM

I just ordered one from amazon for 145 dollars. I'm not in a hot hurry, so I scored free shipping.

we'll see if I get it all together in a few weeks, tehn maybe some choice vinyl tracks coming your way.

I picked up a pile of Richard Dyer Bennet albums at my dad's house during the cleanout.

Plus, "good evening" the broadway show with peter cook and dudley moore.

Well for a paltry $60 bucks you could probably get it pretty soon.

Isn't amazon in your neck of the woods?

And another thing, if you hadn't spent all that time in college at the cafeteria trying to pick up coeds instead of attending your LINUX class you'd be working at amazon right now, wouldn't you? And you could pick one up on your way home. (:D)

btw, music coming your way soon.

BigV 05-12-2006 02:28 PM

I drive right past Amazon's world HQ twice a day as it is. It would be trivial to stop in and check the "company store", if one exists.

wrt goofing off in the cafeteria, your generously charitable misunderestimation of my college era is the nicest thing anybody's said to me all day. Thanks! Alas, punch deck representing the mystical "Linux" seen in the fever dreams of my undergraduate era was never found, despite several furious searches. Searches that all seemed to end right about when I found the aspirin and some OJ...

I'll send you a disc and you can evaluate it, scratches and all.

That's the problem with cds, they don't have any of those scratchy sounds, like the wind in the rigging, it's part of the experience.

On the other hand, I'm up to 1000 songs on the ipod and it fits in my pocket. It'll still fit in my pocket when it's got 7500 songs in it. Can't really say the same for vinyl.

BigV 05-13-2006 04:50 PM

Depends on the pocket, now, doesn't it.
