Pets

Since I have no children just a dog and a ferret I was wondering is there anyone else out there who has some different pets? I am semi new to this place and I am not quite sure how to get a picture of my dog up here so everyone can see just how damn cute she is!!!!!!!! So I would like to know how to do that and I would like to see pictures of other people's pets up here too!

What a good looking dog! Actually looks like a smile there. I love how dogs have such great facial expressions.

Nekee, when you make a post, just above the "Submit Reply" button is another button labeled "Browse.
Hit that button and you should get a "choose file" box showing your PC. In that box, find the picture and open it. It has to be less than 102 kb and in the form of one of the file extensions listed right under the "Browse" button.
Then hit the "submit reply" button and you're good to go.
I've heard that if you use the "Preview Reply" button, the picture won't post, but I'm not sure.
4 or 5 inches square should be big enough. :)

Four cats, one dog, three fish tanks. My main tank is full of pink convict cichlids. I used to have more variety, but cichlids are vicious little finny beasts, and they tend to end up as a single population over the course of several years. My oldest fish was almost seven years old when he died, and there's a couple in the self-sustaining population that are three or four now.

The only time I can get all the cats in one place is to give them canned food every so often...

This is Alan's cat. Don't believe anything he says about it being my cat. He had her before we got married ergo she is his.
We have a little mini zoo here at our place, a few pet rabbits, a few guinea pigs, two cats, two dogs, two horses, a few goats and one fish tank. All of these animals except the above mentioned cat were mine before Alan and I got married. I was in 4-H growing up so several of the animals were my 4-H projects that have stuck around as pets even though my 4-H days are long over. The things men will put up with for the women they love.

EDIT:Fixed some spelling mistakes

I don't have any pets at the current time, unless you count the occasional spider that wanders through my apartment, and the late Mr. Crinkles, a mouse that I sent to mousie heaven.

The apartment I live in has a very strict no pets lease. Pets of any kind, including fish, are an evictable offense. I'm not even allowed to have a bird feeder, but I don't listen to that one.

I would like to have many pets, particularly extremely large dogs. I would like to have a mastiff like Maximus, whose picture you can find elsewhere here on The Cellar by doing a search for his name.

We have 3 dogs, 6 cats, and 3 tortoises ( 2 are 100+ pounds). The tortoises keep us as entertained and busy as the cats and dogs do! :)
Never a dull moment around here.

One massive fishtank, two snakes. Used to be three but one recently died. We think it choked on a fish (which it was trying to eat at the time.)

I have one goldfish called fatso, though he's not fat. He really is big-boned, he's about 12cm long. I would post a pic but I don't have a digital camera or scanner :(
