Pancakes
 

Last night I was dying for a pancake, and in a hurry! So, I went to the kitchen to make some, but because I've been home alone for a while, my fridge was a bit depleated, mainly of milk, so I decided to try making pancakes with water instead of milk.

This is what I did.

1 egg
a cup or so of water
a tablespoon of sugar
about a cup of SR flour

I wisked it all together and then cooked a couple up.

I don't know whether it was my incredible desire for pancakes or if the recipe was good, but they were the best pancakes ever!

One word. Cravings.

Although now I really wish I was at my Mum's and she was cooking us pancakes like she used to every Shrove Tuesday. Back in the days where lemon and sugar were standard toppings and luxury was a teaspoon of warmed up Golden Syrup.
