Feb 24, 2010 [b]: "Reclaimed" Art

I saw this passed around in Facebook. It is done by an artist Sayaka Kajita Ganz. She was born in Japan and currently lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana. They are done entirely from plastic utensils and other miscellaneous "reclaimed" items. Here is a link to her website. Some truly amazing stuff! http://www.sayakaganz.com/Home.html

We've had horse sculpture before from unusual materials. I'm sure someone will remind us where.
These have an amazing dynamism from a simple base. I like.

Tried to recall Poco songs...Could only remember 'Crazy love'. Must be my faded memory. It happens all the time...<---:jig:

Here's what they're running from:

Let's see now.

3 people x 3 months x 20days/month x 8hrs/day = 1440hrs.

Price = $6,000

$6,000/1,440hrs = $4.17/hr...

I suggest they change jobs.
