You betcha, Griff. It's one of the three whiskies I have on hand, as opposed to the three whiskeys also in the cabinet (Scotch vs. bourbon here). Lagavulin is nice and smooth, with solid (but not overpowering) peat and smoky elements.

Heh, everybody's going to picture me as some kind of lush. This is when I'm glad that the good stuff is expensive; I can't afford to drink that much!

I just finished the last of yesterdays cold press, I slept about 2 hours and had to take a pain pill. So's I wash it down with Folgers French Roast, over Ice.

According to Miller's Brew Blog: I've been asking myself whether I should try it or not.

The food and beverage industry has a tendency to take a good idea, and produce a product that tastes nothing like the description.

On the one hand I thought "Beer with Lime and Salt" sounds great. On the othe hand, it could be a NOVELTY BEER... anybody remember Tequiza?

The six-packs were taunting me. How can I buy six of these things; what if they're nasty? Then I saw the "singles" - maybe I could try just one? But this presents another problem: if I actually like it, then I haven't got another one! My solution: I bought a single Chill, and a six-pack of Miller Lites.

The verdict?

Whatever you're drinking, send me some NOW before I find freshfuck and beat the crap out of him just on principle.

Errr... Well, RIGHT now, I'm actually drinking S.Pellegrino, sparkling Italian mineral water, with a splash of organic, not-from-concentrate lemon juice.

The new Acai-Blueberry-Pomegranate Vitam Water...Awesome. Awesome to the max.

Iced coffee now...but Friday happy hour is nigh. Mojitos, anyone? :yum:

I just finished a glass of rose and a bottle of IPA. Am thinking of moving on to a latte.....is 9pm too late to be drinking coffee? Will I regret it? Probably, but y'know when nothing but a really creamy latte will do?

Go for it! The warm milk will counteract the caffeine.

Fuck it....gonna live dangerously....okay, when I was 18 that meant scoring some speed, but now it means drinking coffee after 9pm....ohmigod, I got old.
