Try anyhin by Stephen Leather

Personally I love his Jack Nightingale series but for full on action his Dan Spyder novels are brilliant

Also check out Mark Tufo - his Zombie Fallout series is awesome - totally unlike most zombie fiction - lot of action and humour and the main charact is a brilliant everyman character tryin to keep his family safe

Richard Marcinko.

Also, if you can read fantasy novels (I'm talking about swords and dragons and wizards) I highly recommend R.A. Salvatore's Forgotten Realms books. The Drizzt character's fight scenes sometimes go for pages, and I find myself getting excited, and reading faster and faster. He also writes Star Wars novels and some Tarzan novels, I think. I can't say anything about those, haven't read any of them.

anyhin, that's a strange name for a book, or anything else, for that matter.

Bleh, like, screw you asshole (not really ;p)

Oh: talking of fantasy books - for real action fantasy with breath taking fight sequences, you can't go far wrong with Joe Abercrombie's books. The First Law trilogy, in particular, but he's also done some fabulous standalones (Best served Cold, and Heroes).

Gritty fantasy which doesn't pull its punches. Three dimensional characters that you actually give a shit about and a fast paced story.
