The Testosterone Advantage Plan

Has anybody else heard of (or tried) this plan?

Today is my first day on the plan.

The plan has 3 goals:

Help overweight men lose weight and get in shape
Help men who are happy with their weight but want to get in shape get in shape
Help men who want to put on weight and get in shape

I fall into the second category, I just want to look better (although I should clarify that this is not a confidence thing).

The plan gives you a 7 day eating plan and a 9 week exercise regime (lifting weights).
2 weeks for beginners to get your body ready to handle the heavier workouts.
3 weeks of more advanced techniques.
4 weeks of more specific sets and heavier weights.
Plus how to increase the workouts over time.

I'll let you know how I get on as the weeks go by.

So...that is really only one goal. It doesn't matter whether you're too heavy, not heavy enough or just right.

Well, I eat food anyway so no extra money needed there.

I have been a member of that gym for a while anyway, I just havn't got the results I wanted so no extra money there.

The book only cost £7.99. Hardly breaks the bank.

Anyway, the question I asked is "Has anybody else heard of (or tried) this plan?" But all I got was your negativity.

I'd never heard of that one, when was it published? Is it a UK author?

Heatseeker 06-20-2006 08:28 AM

It came out in the states before being released in the UK

With that kind of logic involved, how good could it possibly be? I guess where testosterone is involved, talking about logic puzzles is inherently tautological anyhow. :-)

Sorry you didn't get what you wanted. I suggest you demand your money back.

Does being antagonistic make you feel special?

Maggie is actually quite funny for a brainiac. You just got to read between the lines for the left brained humor.

No, there's no shortage of antagonistic people. But if you don't want your drivel mocked, don't post it in public fora. Sorry to hear about your testosterone shortage, although you'll be glad to know your impulsive agressiveness still seem to be working. Maybe an ED medication would help. :-)

ut , oh, now ,you got her using words like 'dirvel' and 'mocked'. Now she's irked.
The partys over. The word slinging begins.

Heatseeker simply asked if anyone had heard of or tried the regimen. That's hardly grounds for a personal attack.

If you've tried it, know someone who's tried it, or simply see flaws in it, disagree with it's premise, say so. :eyebrow:

I thought the pitch sounded whifty, and said so. The thread looks like viral marketing to me...and that's not the first time Heatseeker's threads have been suspected of it, especially at that thread-to-post ratio. Until he started complaining about my comment, anyway. You could always go to the main site and order a copy....they're currently giving away free copies of their other other books "The Real Man's Survival Guide" and "Seduce Her In Seconds".

Did you really expect something called "The Testosterone Advantage Plan" to pass without wisecracks here? :-)

I had the same thought, but without a link or singing it's praises, it's borderline.
I've got to give him the benefit of the doubt. It wouldn't be the first clumsy entrance by a noob. :D

Ah but you see testosterone actually has little to do with the plan it is just called that because it is marketed towards, wait for it... men.

Then the advertising is at least deceptive if not fraudulent:
