Spinning - this time eggs

Today you can spin an egg on its end. And it will not fall. The Winter Solstice.

xoxoxoBruce 12-21-2018 12:31 PM

Bullshit.

glatt 12-21-2018 12:32 PM

Thanks for the reminder. I almost missed the solstice.

The depths of darkness are at their worst now, and the sun will be returning a little bit more each day.

For the NYC chart, starting Dec 22nd sunsets get later, but so do sunrises until January 1st, then on January 8th sunrise starts getting earlier. Jan 1st = 4 min, Jan 31st = 50 min, longer than today.

Wow. I thought it was BS. But every so often, it works for some.
Apparently one must have the right type of geology. Is your's known a Heaven on Earth - where miracles can happen?

xoxoxoBruce 12-22-2018 12:41 AM

First of all, it's the spring and fall equinoxes, secondly it's balancing, not spinning.
Spinning is to determine if the egg is raw or boiled.

This is the first thing you've ever said that I can say I 100% agree with. Merry Christmas, tw. It's a Christmas miracle.

I thought it had but saw him on the net from a recent TV show he did, and he sounded real good. I don't think his voice has the stamina to do a couple hour concert any more though.

Gravdigr 12-26-2018 11:40 AM

Damn, ppl, the man's 76 years old. Cut him some slack. I think he sounds great. Wish I could sing half that good.

Only Tom Jones can still sing as good as when young, and he's 78.

And he fer shure has Macca beat in the looks dept.:lol2:
