Marilyn Manson playing a 'ukulele?
In the last three weeks I've purchased 2 new cds. First, new Marilyn Manson - The Golden Age of Grotesque. Yes, I know, a lot of people think their music is crap and he's a pompous ass... but what can I say? It's great music to sit in gridlock with (I'm in my car at least 3 hours a day). And you may be surprised how smart the guy actually is, but that’s not why I bought the cd.
The second, Isreal Kamakawiwol'ole - Alone In IZ World. Heard of him? He was (died a few years back) the most popular Hawaiian musician ever. Most of his music is just him and his 'ukulele. It's very calming and comforting. I highly recommend it. I'm pretty open to most genres of music. It all depends on my mood. Does my cd collection make me crazy? http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung...smiley-017.gif |

But I thought his quote that went something like "shock was never my goal" was hilarious. Sure, loser, now that you're not shocking anymore, it's safe to say that. |

Is your CD collection composed entirely of disks that have on them special encoded messages just for you, being a method of direct communication from the artist to your brain, or is the artist able to establish a psychic link with you while you listen to one CD such that s/he is inspired to greater heights of inspiration and creativity based on the patterns of your neural firings? |
Don't forget subliminal messages.
