Man, with that many people, I'd require lifevests on everyone too. But I don't get the hats...

Maybe the hats are to prevent other people's flailing arms from grabbing fistfuls of hair?

Bring to a boil and add vegetables. Reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes. Season to taste.

That first picture is cropped to show only the people in the wave pool in that narrow band of space where they are able to touch the bottom but still experience the wave's full force. I bet it's much less crowded off to the right where it gets deeper and a little less crowded off to the left, where it gets shallower. But I bet lots of kids are off to the left playing in the shallow end.
