Now that Georgie has lost the election...

He will head back to the Congress and continue to do what he has already done, moderate, vote, represent.

Palin will head back to AK as a folk hero among some and a folksy joke to others. But she will forever remain as a face of AK, good or bad. I think she will and should run for Stevens seat.
