Tuba, or not Tuba

I stole this from Cellar member Kirk's site. Shhhh, mums the word. ;) But you could go there for his take on playing left handed vs right handed, from a guy that does both.

As a French horn (valves under the left hand fingers) and tuba (valves under the right hand fingers) player I've never given it a second thought as to which/how/what/where/why. But if you ask me to think about it a liuttle more closely for me it's a 1, 2, 3 (index, middle, ring finger) question. Or maybe middle -> outwards?
