so they claim. :eyebrow:

A link in the comments to the blog leads to http://www.jscreenfix.com/

claims to be able fix 'stuck' pixels, fixed bright dots, by rapidly cyling an area of the screen in different modes, sort of exercising out.

We have a bright green line down our monitor, maybe I wil try this out later.

Damn you Buster. Now I know I have a dead pixel and it's driving me nuts. Before this, I thought it was just another piece of dirt on the screen.

busterb 02-01-2008 02:46 PM

Beest. Thanks for reading the blog. Works? Damifino! Hope that my new LCD doesn't need that yet.
Bruce. Try it and report.

Beest 02-01-2008 11:18 PM

Well I tried it on our laptop and it had no effect, it's not just a pixel though, a line all down the screen that appeared after an impact, so probably more hardwareish.
