A school of minnows? Aquatic fireworks?

No, it's 1,765 swimmers setting off from Asia, heading to Europe in the only intercontinental swimming race. Held in Istanbul, they swim across the Bosphorus, a distance of 4 miles. Delayed from July because of the 'rona, the race took place on Sunday. Masks were required before the start and during the awards and spectators were not allowed.

Participants hailed from 59 different countries, and the winner was Mustafa Seven.

FWIW... I've found that happens if I've uploaded an image in the attachments window; then, closed the composition window for some reason and opened it again. The new composition window doesn't link to the existing attachments window. The original attachment number, which may have been copied along with other information from the original composition window, won't work if pasted in the reopened window. A new attachments window has to be opened for the newly opened composition window and the image uploaded again which generates a new attachment number to put in the post.

But the mysogynist old fart can still eat one and I hope he chokes on it.

I suppose it was a timed race because it looks like the start times were staggered significantly. Or maybe not, and it was just really unfair for the people who started two minutes after the first ones.

Maybe a safer way to flee to Europe than a leaky inflatable in the Med.
Both attachments worked for me, just like one of the four bridges would to avoid the sharks.
