3/31/2004: Red iceberg
http://cellar.org/2004/icrbergart.jpg
Already covered elsewhere on the Cellar, but it deserves to be included here too. This iceberg is not naturally that color, it was painted that way by Chilean-born Danish artist Marco Evaristti. His crew of 20 guys took 3,000 liters (780 gallons) of dye, three fire hoses, and two icebreakers to get the job done. full story It's art alright, but at whose expense! |

It sure beats the yellow snow I see in Pittsbrrrrg in the winter.
Also, I bought a new crock-pot today. Will slo-cook my pile and have a nice-crock-o-shit when I get home from work tomorrow. |
We should decorate his front yard with dog feces.

I could accept this as art, but only on one condition: He changed the dye to blue snow cone flavor, mmmm...blue raspberry giant snow cone....

Art schmart!
Art? Yeah, whatever you reckon.
The fish in the blender thing I liked, at least it "made u think" but this is just a bored artist who had heaps of red paint lying around and nothing better to do with his time. Official critique: wanker |

It looks like a used tampon.
A gigantic, well-used tampon, floating in a sea of Bloo, with dramatically soaring porcelain-like icebergs all round. |
