12/20 Extra: Rabbit Meat Puzzle

Yes folks, that's right! You too can spend countless hours enjoying the... uh. Okay. It's a little puzzle that came with some frozen rabbit meat from way back in the day.

Here are links to the two pictures - one of the instruction cards, and the other of the puzzle itself. The instruction cards have plenty of interesting tidbits about frozen rabbit meat. I'm not putting 'em here 'cause I don't want jaggy-poo to cry :) Just click the links.

Picture of the directions

and here we have the

Picture of the actual puzzle

P.S. - these are warch's, so thanks to her. I'm just hosting them.

Funny, I thought it was gonna be:
  • Buy one of each cut of rabbit meat
  • Assemble rabbit
For extra credit, make it into a pet:
  • Fill in missing pieces (sold next to the rabbit parts.) Be creative!
  • Thaw finished rabbit
  • Juice with a couple hits of lightning

Yah Bitman, I was thinking the same thing... well up until that reanimation part. Mmmm... tastes like chicken.

Actually Rabbit tastes like squirrel!, and I HEAR it tastes like cat - in fact I've heard that the ONLY way that it can be told from cat is if the bones feel smooth vs rough on the teeth

Pel-Freeze makes a good product, just a bit unusual

Charlie
(who now has a strange craving for rabbit)

Mmmm... squirrely goodness

Actually, I've had squirrel as well but it was marinated in spagetti sauce so it was unrecognizable. The only rabbit I've eaten was southern fried... its good to be the predator!

I once saw a bio show on rabbits, and in it they said "The reason that rabbits bread so fast is that EVERYTHING likes the way they taste."

ha. :)

I've never had rabbit. I don't really intend to either. I'm content to eat my packaged cow and pig and chicken. They get me by. But, whatever floats your boat...

Pel-Freez Frozen Rabbit Meat

There's a WHOLE SLEW of Pel-Freez stuff over here:

(Scroll to Down 07-2001)

Once again I find that I am a vast repository of utterly useless knowledge, gathered to give me some small purpose in life as I:

a) Lack Basic Social/Motor/Bladder Control Skills
b) Am Unable to Control my Incessant Wailing
c) Visit /. Regularly

Someone please kill me.

It could be that your life it meant to serve as a warning to others.

No, wait. What I meant to say is:

Forget slashdot. Post here. Some day, you may even take my title of "Biggest Asshole On The System". And no, I'm not talking "stretched"...

Useless knowledge isn't useless. I'm a fountain of "useless" knowledge. You just need to put it to good work. Like on Jeopardy, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, or The Weakest Link. Be careful though - if you make it to the last 3, the 2 idiots will usually vote you off so they can duke it out. So make sure to incapacitate one of them in the bathroom during a break. :)

Dygytyz, from everything you've said, I recommend going into consulting.

Dygytyz 12-21-2001 09:48 AM

Funny you should mention that. I am a consultant. My psychotherapist says that I needed to "expand my horizons, change people's lives, and do what I enjoy."

So I started doing Network and Internet consulting. Now I get paid to sit on my ass and surf the Net (expand my horizons), cause other people to be laid off because I'm so damn good (change people's lives), and laugh maniacally when I deposit my big fat checks into the bank knowing that someone's hard earned cash (not mine) is going to fund my collection (do what I enjoy) of expensive but useless desk gadgets.

I'm glad I went to that doctor. He's really helped me make a difference in my own life, while at the same time changing the life of the people I come into contact with. I have a profound sense of well-being now.

But that could just be an after-effect of the electro-shock therapy.

That means that you have achieved your goals, are living well, and anything you can't handle is entirely in your own mind.

That never-ending sense of dissatisfaction you're feeling? It's normal, and should go away in a few decades. In the meantime, drink lots of fluids and get plenty of rest. A daily high-potency mutli-vitamin may help you to accept the bizarre reality that you see.

Or a healthy, hearty helping of some nice Pel-Freez Frozen Rabbit Meat. Come on; have some, all of the "cool kids" are doing it.

Actually, I am eating some chocolates I received from a co-worker today, and as I open the box, I find the Nutrition Information supplement that I guess the Fedz require all confectioners to include in their ever-so-yummy boxen of sugar-filled delights.

Lo and behold, one serving is 3 pieces of chocolate. From that one serving, I will obtain 25% of my DV of saturated fat, 2% of my Cholesterol (good? bad?) DV, and approximately 4% of my Iron DV. Actually, I will certainly exceed those values today...

Unfortunately, there is no amount of potassium worth reporting, so it looks like another night of excruciating charlie horses and foot cramps. But who cares, because I'll be eating chocolate. :D
