The goal is “giving a new face to these structures and visibility to the people who live in them,” according to the festival’s website.

My Mother used to crochet, but she would never do anything like that.

Are they going to take it down before rainy season? Because mold. "First, I needed a place to stay; now I have a fungal infection in my lungs." :eyebrow:

In the top picture I am pretty sure that is a kindle at the top of the roof. I can just see her being all lazy all day up there reading while she makes those poor slave workers doing all the knitting down below.

I read my Kindle a lot. It is pattern recognition to quickly spot the last place I left my Kindle when I am hunting for my book.
