German Photographer Dieter Klein has a passion for abandoned cars and travels across the US and Europe to photograph them.

BBC article with photo credits, Klein's Book is called Lost Wheels

Not quite the same thing admittedly, but at the farm where I kept my old horse there was a garage with a Morris Minor in situ.

The snag was that no-one had set eyes on it for decades as a substantial tree had grown up right in front of the door.

As far as I am aware they are both still there.

Youtube is full of crazy barn finds.

I like watching the 'Tubers that find an old vehicle in the field/barn, and make the thing run, and sometimes drive it outta the field, all with minimal parts replacement.

One thing a lot of those guys have in common is when they pull the dipstick to see what the oil looks like, they all (ok, almost all) lick the dipstick. I guess oil that has broken down beyond lubricating ability tastes different from usable oil?

Here's a pic of a tractor:

It doesn't quite please the eye like the OP (which is a nice pic, btw), but it's all I got in the way of grown over vehicles.
