Huzzah innovation for this gent who has taken his own Segway design (sorta) a step further and, for $1500 in parts, designed a one-wheeled version seen here... and with his links, you can build you own, too.

Looking at how they are trying to balance themselves with their arms, I would doubt the stability claims.

having one wheel with a seat attached rammed up my ass does meet my criteria for "cool".

it was funny in B.C. but maybe not so much for real life.

I prefer the Maddox design improvement to the Segway - he went the other direction.

I can't find a link to the South Park episode with the "Ginger Device" transporter. It had a rather interesting seating and steering system.
