You RFN, 2012

I thought I'd open this thread with a pic of what I carry on me everyday. No wonder I keep having to hike up my britches. Here's my standard list:
1. Sig P220 (.45) with internal laser
2. Paraframe knife
3. Carabiner with department office keys
4. Patrol car key with make a wish and Big Sarge fobs (carry for good luck)
5. Department cellphone and personal cellphone
6. A Streamlight light I wear around my neck

This is for standard admin days. You ought to see the crap when I carry my duty belt. Oh, I had to show off my Sundae calendar too, so I used it as a backdrop

zippyt 01-02-2012 03:04 PM

Gibbs Rule #9: Never go anywhere without a knife.

classicman 01-02-2012 04:07 PM

Rule #10
Never go anywhere without your handmade key chain from Wolf.

Lola Bunny 01-02-2012 04:35 PM

I keep on looking at the stuffs and wonder why Sundae carry these things. And patrol car, what patrol car is she talking about? School appointed cars are called patrol cars in England? Sundae carries a gun, a knife and a Streamlight?? It wasn't until while reading the post for the fifth time that I realized it was Big Sarge's post. I looked over and Big Sarge's name confirmed it for me. Sundae's picture threw me off. :p:

infinite monkey 01-02-2012 05:37 PM

She has horns. Or a keyhat.

Big Sarge 01-02-2012 05:44 PM

Are you implying Sundae is horny??

DucksNuts 01-03-2012 04:55 AM

:::::grumbles that I didnt get any friggin fudge from Wolf and NOW I dont have a keychain either:::::

Ha - kidding....well, about the keychain, not the fudge.

Same over here! :lol2: - "Wouldn't want to meet her in a dark alley, after all," was what I thought.

ZenGum 01-05-2012 07:27 PM

Well in the right mood, meeting Sundae in a dark alley could be... you know ... :D

Undertoad 01-06-2012 02:16 PM

Pete Zicato 01-06-2012 02:32 PM

It's a little raggedy - could use a trim. But it's a good look for you.

glatt 01-06-2012 03:03 PM

Hey, look at you! I think that's the first clear shot of yourself that you have posted.

Nice to see you. :D

Undertoad 01-06-2012 03:05 PM

My first thought, I swear it, was "Hey, those glasses go well with your face."

Then, "Oh, right!!!!"

infinite monkey 01-06-2012 03:19 PM

*waves at spexxie*

Nice to see you! I love your glasses. If I lived near you I'd make you find the perfect pair for my face. (Probably something from the 'clown' section.) :)

DucksNuts 01-06-2012 04:04 PM

Hey Spexxie, long time no see :)

And Hey UT as well, I dont think you age at all!!

Griff 01-07-2012 11:32 AM

Ha! My beard is scraggy and gray right now as well. Now I have an excuse to keep it in play, since it is now the official look of teh cellar.

Lola Bunny 01-07-2012 08:29 PM

Ohh...it's so nice to see how everyone looks. :D

plthijinx 01-07-2012 08:43 PM

your turn! ;p

Big Sarge 01-07-2012 09:21 PM

Lola Bunny, we need another cute peek at you!

Big Sarge 01-07-2012 09:26 PM

I rode the lightning today. 50,000 volts from a Taser. Yep, I screamed like a bitch. I've been shot, stabbed, burned, pepper sprayed, and this hurt like a MF!!!!

classicman 01-07-2012 09:30 PM

Wow! Better you than me.

zippyt 01-07-2012 10:04 PM

Can you taste your fillings BS ??
I hear thats a side effect .
Oh and what Classic said

Lola Bunny 01-07-2012 10:33 PM

Was that really you getting tasered, Sarge?!!? Hahaha....what were you guys doing tasering the Chief like that?

And this is me, right before exercising earlier tonight. Hmm...that was right after I replied in this thread. :p:

zippyt 01-07-2012 10:36 PM

Lola , If they carry a Taser they have to know what it feels like ,
hurts like a Byotch from what i hear

regular.joe 01-07-2012 11:51 PM

Sarge, I feel your pain. I too have been pepper sprayed and tasered. It sucked, I'll take the pepper spray any day.

Big Sarge 01-07-2012 11:55 PM

Awww Lola Bunny that smile makes my pain go away. The guys holding me were to keep me from falling and hurting myself if my kneees collapsed. I took the full shot (programmed 5 seconds) with a regular street load to set an example for my guys. That way they could see how to pull the barbed metal probes out of the skin. Other guys were stunned using clip on leads or "drive stunned" (touching prongs to skin).

Ya'll notice I'm getting some serious butt erosion?? I'm thinking about implants or falsies

Sundae 01-08-2012 04:12 AM

Wow Sarge - way to take one for the team!
That looks bloody awful.

Lola, you look so calm and serene.
That's the only way in which your face resembles the moon.

DanaC 01-08-2012 04:28 AM

I'm impressed and a little concerned about that tasering. Be careful Sarge, honey.

Lola, you are soooo pretty.

infinite monkey 01-08-2012 07:11 AM

at my old job a guy taking police academy courses told me they had a choice: get taseres or pepper sprayed. I would need a third choice, like 'go get an ice cream cone.'

Because OUCH!

Griff 01-08-2012 09:22 AM

It seems a little crazy for someone with your health history to get tasered. But I'm glad folks that use them have to know what it feels like, otherwise you get...

regular.joe 01-08-2012 10:28 AM

One of the best ones I"ve seen yet Griff.

infinite monkey 01-08-2012 11:36 AM

We need some pics of the guys without the facial bush, a counter to the grizzly adams motif. Anyone?

The promotion to MSG. Yes my title now can be misconstrued as monosodium glutamate. So, that's me on the left, the company First Sergeant in the middle, and Mrs. Joe on the right. She can hit harder then she looks.

Sundae 01-08-2012 11:59 AM

Now you see, not knowing anything about the military - especially not foreign military - I would assume that all those with the spanky coloured caps would outrank you.
But that would seem a little mean at a photo-op for your promotion.

Do let me know.
It's heartwarming regardless. Congrats to you again and hello to Mrs Joe.
If she's used to fighting for you I don't doubt she packs a wallop.

classicman 01-08-2012 12:26 PM

You see Sundae - those colorful hats have no brim like Joes.
They're obviously below him as they still have to deal with the sun in their eyes.
Promotions come with brimmed hats like his. ;)

zippyt 01-08-2012 01:21 PM

Congrats there TOP !!!

Looken good Lola :)

Big Sarge 01-08-2012 03:13 PM

Aliantha 01-08-2012 05:03 PM

plthijinx 01-08-2012 05:10 PM

Congratulations MSG.joe, 27 came up fast.

regular.joe 01-08-2012 07:55 PM

Sundae, the maroon berets signify airborne troops in our Army, I just came in for a morning off of leave to get pinned and did not have my beret on.

27 Came up much faster then I and a lot of others thought it would. I'm not complaining.

Plthi, whatis that on your computer screen???

Griff 01-08-2012 07:57 PM

Congrats Joe!

Me. RFN.

I finished work on Friday but knew I was getting sick. I've been recovering all weekend, so I look a bit like a hermit.

The beard helps me keep warm.:D

classicman 01-08-2012 08:54 PM

Hey Rich! looking good man. Hope you're feelin better.

Big Sarge 01-09-2012 07:50 AM
