Is that a photoshop? Coz I can't believe McD's would eff up that badly. But I would LIKE to believe it.

Gravdigr 02-25-2013 05:17 PM

Well, seeing as McD's don't apply the decals to the buses, Ima guess somebody slapped a sticker on top of the McD's ad.

Cuz, you know, you can see it. It's wrinkled. Musta been a rush job.

gvidas 02-25-2013 05:38 PM

Based on the wrinkles and the thin white line under the letters, it looks to me like someone cut out the G and then stretched the burgundy vinyl to fit. Vinyl responds in really interesting ways to heat; this probably took only a few seconds to pull off.

xoxoxoBruce 02-25-2013 05:41 PM

Agreed, it looks like the 'US.' is wrinkled, like it had been peeled off and reapplied.

BigV 02-25-2013 05:57 PM

I dunnno.... it is *all* beef after all.

Sundae 02-26-2013 04:06 AM

Until it's horsemeat.

SPUCK 02-26-2013 04:41 AM

It's shopped.

Look. The 'ANUS' isn't even the same font.

Nirvana 02-26-2013 10:32 AM

The funny thing about "Angus Beef" is that it does not really have to be pure Angus. But it sounds tasty right?

infinite monkey 02-26-2013 10:40 AM

Angus. Anus?

Not anymore.

Actually, before it just made me think it was made out of some Scot.

infinite monkey 02-26-2013 10:45 AM

Oh, I don't know what's up there. I never dared ask!

What about 'Aberdeen Angus' is that the same?

xoxoxoBruce 02-26-2013 11:38 AM

'Aberdeen Angus' is a specific breed of cattle, but I believe 'Angus' is a catch phrase with no legal definition, which the advertising boys use to allude to better quality.

DanaC 02-26-2013 11:40 AM

Ahhh I did not know that!

Funnily enough Burger King do a 'Big Angus' here.
