Other than smoking it ...
I want to ingest some herb without smoking it. There are various recipes on the internet, but I was wondering if any Dwellars had insight when it comes to alternative to smoking.

I have had cookies, brownies, and spaghetti sauce. All have been very effective. Spaghetti sauce being the easiest, just add the weed like you would an other spice, it adds a flavor that I like, but some people don't. The down side what ever recipe you use is that it takes about 2-4 hours to come on, but when it does it is intense.

I never liked ingesting it. When I smoke I can feel it coming on. I just smoke a few puffs, then leave it a little, and if I start to feel it I can choose whether to keep smoking or set it aside for a while.
Eating it, you're committed. If you happen to have a strong batch, or you happen to be particularly susceptible to the effects on that night, then you can end up getting a lot higher than you might want to be. In that sense it's almost more like a trip. That said, I have had some pleasant encounters with the cooked stuff. If you're going to try it, start small and test the waters. |
Some friends in college, all newbies, baked a big batch of brownies based on an online recipe. They all spent the next 24 hours vomiting. Be careful with ingesting.

Instead of lighting it on fire, vaporizers heat air going through the material until the active ingredients become vapor. They vaporize at a lower temperature than gets produced when the material is lit.

what type of herb? oregano or thyme?

i saw a show about a guy that makes juice out of the leaves. lots and lots of fresh leaves. has medicinal benefits, but no high.
