Celebrity Death pool 2020

Points are 111-age at death. Celebrity must be notable enough for their demise to be reported in National news in your country.

You can change your list without stating reason up until 01:20 on 1/20/20 as long as there was no significant change in the health of a person you are adding or dropping since 1/1/20. You can join at any time, but all your celebs still need to have a pulse at the time of posting your list. You get a grace peiodof 72 hours from the time of posting to make tweaks -same rules regarding changes in health.

so without further ado.....

1) Leslie Phillips
2) Stuart Hall (the UK "presenter"/creep)
3) Vera Lynn
4) Prince Phillip
5) Buzz Aldrin
6) William Shatner
7) Betty White
8) Kirk Douglas
9) Diane Rehm
10) D0nald trum9

Here's the thread for noting the deaths of celebs not on any Dwellar's list

Luce 12-30-2019 08:57 AM

John Lewis.

I love the man, but stage IV pancreatic cancer is stage IV pancreatic cancer.

Griff 12-30-2019 09:13 AM

1) Bill Cosby (Eddie Murphy got a good laugh the other night mentioning that he's staying home with his baby and Bill's in prison, not what people predicted. Turns out all SNL needs to be funny is Eddie)
2) Pete Davidson (speaking of SNL this time a skinny guy goes)
3) Donald J Trump ( his doctor won't intervene with the stroke because of his perfect health)
4) Brendan Fairclough (great rider but...)
5) Mia Farrow
6) Emile Francis (HoF goalie)
7) Paul Lowe (running back for the steroid introducing '63 Chargers)
8) Jack Nicholson
9) Paul Krugman (if Trump lives Krugman will stroke when he's re-elected)
10) Samuel Robson "Rob" Walton (oldest heir)

Clodfobble 12-30-2019 02:17 PM

1.) Val Kilmer
2.) Larry King
3.) Kirk Douglas
4.) Ruth Bader Ginsberg
5.) Julie Andrews
6.) Tony Bennett
7.) Bob Barker
8.) Dick Van Dyke
9.) Angela Lansbury
10.) David Attenborough

lumberjim 12-30-2019 02:44 PM

He's still alive and working.

lumberjim 12-30-2019 04:52 PM

Oh right. It was Don Imus

monster 12-30-2019 06:04 PM

Editing: taking one out (certain death to them, oops....) and replacing them to even up the gender balance.... (you can all thank me later)

1) Leslie Phillips
2) Stuart Hall (the UK "presenter"/creep)
3) Vera Lynn
4) Prince Phillip
5) Buzz Aldrin
6) William Shatner
7) Betty White

My vision is a (long slow painful) heart attack mid "speech", but no-one intervenes because they think he's just mocking someone.

Nigel Farage will never die. He has a deal with Moloch.

monster 12-31-2019 05:56 PM

Limey, I laughed my ass off. Not just because of the description, but because of the sudden impact rather than keeping it for a punchline :D timing is everything

limey 01-25-2020 06:21 AM

Terry Jones = 33 point I believe? We’ve never had point in this game before ...

34 points I think, he was 77 wasn't he? Also I like how it was "Mr. Limey's Offering", but after storming into an early lead, now it's "we" ;)

If anything happens to Ringo Star, we're gonna have words.

monster 03-22-2020 02:24 PM

wondering if we should get bonuses if they die from Covid19? :D

p.s. has anyone secured RBG in a bubble somewhere? (sorry clod, I know you need the points but she needs to live....)

monster 04-06-2020 12:14 PM

Oooh I missed Honor Blackman. I gave her the kiss of death in my 2017 list then forgot all about her

Maybe covid19 deaths should be discounted.

Or maybe a separate Covid pool. You can add anyone but if they’ve already tested positive then you only get half points, full points if they are currently clean.

I hope Trump's paralyzing and permanently disabling (and painful) heart attack is caused by his over-excitement at thinking he gets to pick another SCOTUS appointment

Clodfobble 09-18-2020 09:16 PM

Fuck. I did not want these points.

It was obvious this one was on its way..... especially after the earlier bout this year -screamed palliative to me :( ...but you have to stay hopeful...)

I realized I missed one. Luce only has one name on the list -John Lewis- but his death in July aged 80 puts Luce right up there with 31
