Mars lander and yellow vests
 

Tomorrow at noon PST the new Mars surface science station will or will not land safely. Pictures may come soon.

Anybody else wonder why the recently famous French high visibility yellow vests are green?

Yellow was replaced by puke green several years ago in the US. Why are the French Yellow Vests famous?

Colors are chosen based upon what the eye and brain can most easily detect and identify. For example, red items are literally camouflaged at dawn and dusk. That is when red cars are most likely overlooked; crashes result.

Recently famous, because for the last 9 days they have been worn by protestors.

Now that everyone in NASA is no longer using an obsolete technology American measurement system, NASA research vehicles are repeatedly landing safely.

Insight has landed. This one is a base station; not a Rover.

Also attached were two CubeSats for testing new communication strategies.

Pretty sweet science/tech.
