The Uniballs are the best gel pens.

sexobon 09-26-2020 10:58 PM

If you signed something in blood, wouldn't the blood coagulate into a gel?

Not that I would like it.

I have a used penis.

Quite fond of it.

monster 09-28-2020 03:50 PM

I post things on a soothing blue background but people read them on a poopy brown one. I don't like it at all.

Clodfobble 09-29-2020 09:52 AM

I'm at the age where if I don't get enough sleep I'm bitchy and depressed, even if I don't strictly feel sleepy. On top of the bad mood, it means I have to stop and do math to correctly identify the problem. I don't like it.

glatt 09-29-2020 10:53 AM

I don't like it that the neighbor kid plays with their garden hose, but doesn't have the hand strength to turn it off all the way, so the slow trickle makes the back corner of my yard all soggy when I mow.

I don't like it.

Gravdigr 09-30-2020 12:24 AM

I'm cold as shit.

I don't like it.

sexobon 09-30-2020 01:19 AM

Think warm thoughts.

Gravdigr 09-30-2020 01:45 PM

I tried touching myself, but it was over pretty fast.

Y'know, cuz of the shivering.

:D

monster 10-01-2020 12:12 AM

My UI ended. The last payment should have been yesterday. And isn't showing as pending for today either I don't like it. I don't like that I may have to attempt to wade through an army of Alexa-Siri-Karens on the phone to talk to a human halfway across the globe who thinks I want to know why it ended, not why it hasn't been paid this one last time.....

Also I really don't like being without Jason (beest) but that's a whole different pile o' whiny shit :D

Furthermore... it's past 1am here and I'm shit at going to bed. I'm trying to practice for being employed by going to bed at sensible times for people with jobs..... I'm not too keen on being shit at things.

I don't like it one bit. :eyebrow:

Griff 10-02-2020 08:00 AM

yeah, that don't look good

footfootfoot 10-04-2020 09:51 AM

I got a whole pocket full of things I don't like - and I don't like it.

monster 10-04-2020 09:57 AM

penicillin should take care of that

footfootfoot 10-05-2020 10:27 AM

Penis illin'? penicillin.

easy mnemonic.

Alternative therapies:

Gabby barkeep, very high production values

Makes the drink faster than you can drink one

With Dave Brubeck, also alternative ginger ingredient

Prettiest voice, ignores Laphroaig for Ardbeg. Hmph!

Prettiest garnish

The bearings in my went alternator went bye-bye.

While I was trying to figger out that noise under the hood, it decided to puke about half the radiator contents out.

I don't like it.

xoxoxoBruce 10-06-2020 03:46 AM

Why did it puke do you have a belt driven fan?

Gravdigr 10-06-2020 07:48 PM

Not sure about why it puked. It's an electric fan.

The alternator bearing was rattling for a couple days, and then my "Add Coolant" light flashed a couple times, and when I stopped to check the coolant, it was indeed low. So, with engine running, I popped the cap (it's on the overflow tank in this car(!)), and added about a half gallon of water (it's what I had in the trunk), and 2 minutes later it puked about as much as I put in. No coolant-related issues since.

With the rattling, and the light, and then the pukin', I just knew my water pump was dying. Not so.

Yet.

BigV 10-06-2020 10:11 PM

"yet"

famous last words.

Question for the room...

Which would you rather have to replace, the starter or the water pump?

monster 10-06-2020 10:43 PM

starter.

One of the things GM has been doing is instead of the tank just being for overflow it's part of the pressurized system so when you open the cap the whole system loses pressure and the boiling point of the coolant drops greatly. If your tank has a pressure cap like a radiator instead of like a windshield washer reservoir that may be the reason.

The other thing is the alternator may have been causing the belt to not drive the water pump properly which would be even worse at idle.

The third possibility is a message from god...

Both would suck. On my car, the water pump seems easier to get to, but that might just be because I haven't considered the number of steps to get to each. Plus, with the water pump, you could take care of so many other things at the same time, like the timing belt and coolant flush. Might as well replace the thermostat at the same time, since it's right there. Although, if it's working, maybe leave it alone.

The starter is really just the starter. And all the stuff you remove just gets put back.

jaminhealth 10-07-2020 03:39 PM

I don't like when the "industry" keeps fixing stuff that is NOT broken....changes packaging, making it harder to open and while they are at it, reduce contents you are buying.

The coffee I buy now is a 10 oz package, but it's organic and that's my choice so I pay a little more for no pesticides laden coffee beans.

Gravdigr 10-07-2020 06:46 PM

Water pump.

Cheaper, but harder to get to.

Flint 10-07-2020 07:41 PM

jaminhealth-- ƒuck you, nobody cares. We hate Troll scum and we know about you. Leave.

BigV 10-11-2020 06:36 PM

Yeah, they both suck. I think I'd rather have to replace the water pump because at least I could stand up for much of the job.

I have pics somewhere around here of my battle to replace the starter in a Cadillac, that was epic. The big v-8 sat sideways across the front axle and it was the most crowded engine bay I'd ever worked in. That car? I'd prefer to replace the starter because the clearance between the right front wheel well and the front of the engine was less that the size of my hand, never mind the size of my hand holding a wrench. I did replace both the starter and the water pump on that car... It was plush and nice to drive, as land yachts go, but I don't miss working on it.

monster 11-02-2020 01:17 PM

I don't like it when the edge of the paper has been molded into the butter so you can't unwrap it neatly.

I also don't like when you shake out the wet, clean laundry as you put it into the dryer and knock your coffee so it spills all over the wet, clean clothes.

I don't.

lumberjim 11-02-2020 02:10 PM

Yeah that sucks
