Orfordville, Wisconsin

This is the dullest place ever. It is full of rednecks and has nothing cool in it. It is very small with a population of about 1100 people. It is 20 minutes away from the nearest city. So, it is not a very cool place to live... :thumbsdn:

SteveDallas 01-04-2005 06:42 PM

So, ummm... do you live there? Or used to?

Or just know it by reputation? :D

Mr. Ears 01-07-2005 12:47 PM

Unfortunately, I live there.

warch 01-13-2005 05:04 PM

20 minutes is a long time.

Happy Monkey 01-13-2005 05:16 PM

Orfordville is fun to say...

Orfordville Orfordville Orfordville!

Mr. Ears 01-13-2005 06:45 PM

ummmm... ok... fortunately i will be moving away next year! or... this year... whatever...

edit: oh and 20 minutes is a long time cuz i cant drive and if i wanted to go anywhere i would have to walk, which would be like 2 hours!

warch 01-14-2005 10:13 AM

What are the kinds of things you look for to do that are not offered in Orfordville? For you, what are the top five types of places or things that make a place less boring? Your quality of life "must haves".

Mr. Ears 01-14-2005 01:13 PM

I would like to have a place to go and buy stuff like a mall, a restaurant so we can eat, a movie theater, alot more people, and ummm... other sorts of attractions...

jinx 01-15-2005 11:30 AM

1. 4 seasons
2. Outdoor recreation (lake, river, mountain etc)
3. several sushi bars
4. King o'Prussia mall
5. alternative education options
6. affordable cool housing

Mr. Ears 01-17-2005 12:52 PM

whats that for?

jinx 01-17-2005 04:23 PM

That was my quality of life list... sorry, I was bored.

Mr. Ears 01-18-2005 05:44 PM

oh... whats a King O' Prussia mall?

wolf 01-18-2005 05:53 PM

It's kind of like The Promised Land, only closer.

Largest Naturally Grown Mall in America

The Mall of America was built to beat it in selling space.

This place just kind of happened and just growed. It started as a strip center.

Mr. Ears 01-20-2005 04:19 PM

A strip center as in, stripping?

wolf 01-20-2005 08:45 PM

No, that was up the Montgomeryville Mart. Sad day it was when the closed Mickey's (formerly Mickey's Mouse, until the Disney people caught wind of it. Probably the only strip-bar in the country that had it's exterior painted like a big ol' swiss cheese.). I do understand that the week of the closing they went full nude. No pasties, no g-strings.
