No, not a euphemism, your teapot...

But, talk to your doctor if this gets you thinking metaphorically.

Does your chewing gum lose its flavor on your bedpost overnight?

"That isn't a bedpost, and that isn't chewing gum."

It's flavor?"

This thread made me go back and find the thread about recommended kettles and order one; I've been having a lot more tea working from home.

Me too! Except, I don't bother with dipping the tea bag in. I am just drinking hot water. It's actually very nice.

Weirdo

Clodfobble 05-07-2020 08:29 PM

I drink hot water with lemon juice and honey more often than I drink tea. But there is a fair amount of lemon juice and honey in it.

I always add honey and sometimes lemon juice. Also I usually drink Earl Grey. So I seldom taste the actual tea over the honey and bergamot. Maybe I don't even like tea; I wouldn't know.

When we kids had colds in the throats or nose, Mom would fix us tea with milk and sugar; then we knew we were being cared for and about. And the tea brought some relief for a time.
