Today's IOTD comes to you via Amsterdam design firm Jansen + Co and their Ming Oil & Vinegar Set:

“The Ming Oil & Vinegar Set from Dutch design firm Jansen + Co. takes the classic form of the wine glass and turns it on its head, literally. We love it, and not just because it’s clever – the stem reduces the flow just the right amount, so it’s easy to measure as you pour. Ships in a stylish box and includes a funnel for easy filling, plus a cleaning brush.”
I really, really want to get a set for my fond-of-wine parents. If you can find me a set for sale online anywhere i will thank you forever.

Very cool.

Truth is I think you have better online searching capability than me, but I will keep an eye out. Best yet is £38 and that's without shipping to me and then to you :(

They're awesome!

Very clever design, but bring those out after the second bottle has been opened and look out! Spillage WILL occur.

Sold here, but currently out of stock. (Also out of stock everywhere else I saw it.)

Put wine glasses in search.

Pretty but tough to clean. Especially if you leave them dirty overnight.

Wombat 12-05-2012 04:15 PM

I like.

Easy to clean: half-fill with a mixture of washing-up liquid and water, shake well, pour out, repeat, then rinse a few times.

Clodfobble 12-05-2012 06:05 PM

The link says it comes with a special cleaning brush.

Yeah, but for Sheldon, that's not washing the dishes, that's how he does foreplay.

:bolt:
