November 29, 2012 - Dark Meat
I came across this alternative "main dish" for your Thanksgiving table next year . . .
http://cellar.org/2012/dark meat.jpg Don't worry, it is an all natural, vegetarian alternative -- it's a jello (gelatin) sculpture! Titled "Funeral Meat," this tasty treat was designed and sculpted by Evan Campbell. Originally discovered at io9. |
from the link: "airbrushed with acrylic adhesive paints."
:yum: |
Don't worry, gelatin is only cow hooves and ears--completely vegetarian.
|
 you got it! Vegetarian alternative, right ...
Major hurl factor :vomit: |
there is a difference between vegetarian, vegan, straightedgers, hardliners and real people.
Still, cool image, high gross factor. I like how the incision on the belly to remove the offal has been sewn shut with X style stitches. |
Roast Gargoyle?
|
This reminds me of the baby Voldemort in the Harry Potter movies. Eeeewww.
|
Poor baby.
I would have kept him alive and fed him water and gold-duct, not served him up for dinner. He could have ridden in my spangly silver bag like one of Paris Hilton's dogs, and terrorised the neighbourhood while I worked, skimming milk and sometimes making the drink to have no barm. Sigh. One man's meat is another man's helpmeet. |
That looks sickly, here's some fresh stuff. :)

There is veggie gelatin. Jelly Tots use it (tiny jelly sweets, okay for Muslim & Hindu children).
But this post was mostly to correct myself. Water and gold-dust. Not gold-duct. |
