I remember almost doing the same thing by accident. The edit button and the quote button are right next to each other.
I feel a little sad for Steve Huffman. He needs to get a thicker skin and just not give a shit about what other people say. Unless he realizes they speak the truth and then he can ponder if he wants to do things differently. |
The guy runs Reddit and he hasn't figured out yet that the internet is a hateful stew of vomit you can never take completely seriously?
(Yes, there are good things on Reddit. But there is also the rest of Reddit.) The perfect lesson would be a site-wide protest where every single user posts something bad about him. He can't correct them all. |

It would be nice if this enraged the users on /r/the_donald so much that they all up and left reddit, but I don't think that's going to happen. That subreddit isn't a community; it's a megaphone, and this is just more fuel for the outrage machine.
