Yeah, I make it from scratch here too. Much nicer than the stuff you buy from the shops.
Recipes, ladies, recipies!!!
Egg yolk, sugar, butter and lemons (or limes if you prefer). I'll have to get the quantities to you when I can be bothered getting my book out. ;)
I'll appreciate that, thanks! My friends and I love going to tea and have started making our own because our favorite teahouse got sold to an idiot who just went out of business.
I lost my recipe
There, there. You'll have that recipe again.
Never! bwaahaaahaaa |
Ohhhh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Sorry Clod.
I know you are our guru for everything else in the world. But you are wrong about marmalade. It's a gorgeous word! If I had a daughter I'd be tempted to call her Marmalade (as in Marmalade Atkins). Nothing wrong with Lemon Curd either. We used to sell Cheese Curd Tarts when I worked in Hampshires Bakery. Now that did sound wrong. |
Ohhhh. We just called 'em curd tarts in Bolton. Used to love those.
I agree on the Lemon Curd front: nowt wrong with that. Nor indeed marmalade. Marmalade Atkins rocked! I think Tracey Beaker is a little like a modern version of Marmalade. |
Yebbut she has a lame name.
