Somebody Wants Us To Be Poor

What is right with the Cellar is to call, DOWN WITH OBAMA AND HIS PARTY! This would actually be pro-capitalist, and thus both human and conducive to living a life worth having lived it. There is a non-capitalist in the White House, and he has no clue about how to put the Great Recession in the past. I pray at least weekly for his complete conversion to capitalism -- or his departure from office so he and his can quit interfering with the recovery that should by rights be underway. Either outcome is more acceptable and more prosperous than the present course. I suppose if I really really looked, I might find a few Democratic solons who are economic literates. If any of these are in Washington, they are keeping mighty quiet. Chained up in the basement and ballgagged? |
Hey UG. Bite me. I mean that with all the hippy love in the world.
|
Hey UG--
When you're done with her, you can choke on me. See you in 2012! |
Why would you start a thread like this UG. Are you feeling feisty?
|
He's just bored with cognac and platitudes. Let him play. ;)
|
UG is just doing God's work.
|
Hahahaaa! Keep it going! :)

The "job creators" want us to be poor, so they can have us cheap.

Maybe you could pray for your own conversion to humanism. There is more to life than money. |

WHERE are all those job creators? I mean, their taxes continue to be nada - yet so are the jobs. Who owns that turkey? |
Well, I already have YOU, UG in my sig line, but anything I can do to help out.
Obama in 1012! |
YAY! I'll vote Obama in 2012
If'n you kick Boris "I refuse to cut short my holiday while London burns - oops until the PM tells me to" Johnson out of office in the same year. Get him back when he belongs, as a comedy buffoon on television. I don't live in the US or in London, but I'm happy to play armchair despot and say I want the former in power and not the latter. Ta. |
I'm not a fan of Obama, due to his spaghetti-like spine. But have you looked at the alternatives?????:greenface:eyebrow: /shudder

The inability of any of these little men to find a 1:10 split of tax increases to program cuts acceptable on the grounds of too much taxation shows the lack of seriousness. Unfortunately, the way out of this appears barred. We can't give Obama a Democratic House because they don't take debt seriously. The present Republican House is, likewise, not serious. Unless Huntsman mans up on the Republican side I don't see anyone willing to be the President of all Americans. And holy shit, I can see why Texans would love to send their Governor to Washington, what a fruitcake!

And did not Jesus speak favorably of the freedom that is the human birthright? No less do I, as rereading some few of my posts will show. Quote:
Such a life is not being lived by V (as I note with sorrow; a man of his parts really shouldn't stay so stupid) nor by the Infinitely Simian Creature (who never had V's capacity, so I merely note it). You're really so very easy to patronize. As I bite either of you, blood will shoot from your eyes and your nipples, to port and to starboard. 2012 is going to be an anti-socialist rout, and you can't see it coming. Is there more to life than money? An exchange medium is a tool for keeping score. A life lived without money is a most primitive life indeed, and one quite unacceptable to yourself, Zen: a life solitary, nasty, brutish, and short. Awaken to Thomas Hobbes; he thought even better than you do, and you should readily be able to improve upon absorbing his writing. Gallup says eleven Americans in a hundred are pleased with the way things are going. Apparently V and IM are two of the eleven, and can't muster up a good refutation of me between the two of them, if "bite me" is all they've got. See how dumb Progressivism (of the State) makes and keeps you? Look at you -- you actually think that was a cogent, effective rebuttal! It's only a demonstration that not only are you two a pair of economic illiterates, but that you are unshakably determined never to be versed in the dismal science. I disdained Mr. Obama's and his Party's bread-and-circuses appeals in 2008, and I was right: it was not sustainable nor wise. I will disdain them once again, which will cancel out at least one vote for stupid. Now I'll move into philosophy: I do not seek in the State a parental figure. I am a free adult, and hence I am more a human being in full than any six leftist-progressives put together. Any six. Only reason the number is not larger is that even leftist-progressives can't be that dumb all the time. Except for the very few that really are -- the sort that only can stay on the street with regular therapy and counseling. Seeing in the state a parental surrogate is both a demonstration that one's mind is not mature and in any case it is bad for both parenthood and the state. The State should not be seen as a mother, nor as a father -- it should be seen as a weapon. Like a weapon, it has a certain spectrum of uses, but this spectrum is short, and does not and should not cover all of life. In the rest of life, there is all the stuff that does not need to be a weapon. In the rest of life, there is the stuff that does not need to be the State. |
