Bullshit kills people

As you've heard, depending on where:
There has been a huge wave of israeli/palestinian zionists/terrorists executing/stabbing random palestinian-kids/israelis on the street.
...The reality is neither. Most of those cases the "executed party" is still alive and in the hospital, all of them are direct continuations of stabbing incidents moments prior, and yet not a single one of those is actually tied to an organized terrorist cell or militia.
It comes down to children who got caught in the wrong chat room in the wrong time, where it didn't take a lot of effort to persuade them precisely because they grew up within a narrative where those actions make total sense by lying the exact same ways they are doing here, and yet the sources that show the contradicting information become completely inaccessible by virtue of portray an alienating conception of themselves. The media is an integral part of the cycle of violence, with outlets pandering to fanatics and nationalists on either side, using incidents like this to reinforce the very same bullshit that leads to more incidents like this.

That all sounds very familiar, if you replace stabbings with shootings. :(

Politics and tragedies. You have to wonder sometimes if when this shit happens, someone somewhere is doing this:

Tragedy + politics = Money for somebody, somewhere.

Politicians only cause the tragedies half the time, but you can be sure they profit from both halves. :yesnod:
