what color is your day?

It's gun-metal gray outside; a post-deluge stuffy sinus looking sky with the pavement all shiny and leering at you.
It's suicide weather, really.

what color day are you having?

Coffee. Dark roast dimly lit rooms with creamy highlights from sun streams through gaps in the drapes stirred by the cat.

Everyone complimented me on my "new" boots today.
Have had them for years but not been able to zip them up (fatted calves).
They also have a heel, so I am taller and therefore look slimmer.
Fluffy pink day.

Worked an extra 2 hours (after school club) for the first time since December.
Magenta.

Came home to the meal I prepped yesterday and the 'rents were out. Got to finish it off and eat in peace. Soft lilac.

Overall colour - shades of pink.
Texture - cashmere cardigan.

grave dirt or regular?

In NOLA grave dirt is considered good gris-gris.

Grey sky but the world is clean looking. The snow's all gone (hurrah!). In amongst the overall grey of the roads and buildings are deeper tones of greens and browns. Yorkshire stone picking up the earth tones.

I actually saw patches of blue sky this morning and sun peeking through. Sweet!

Trilby 01-29-2013 07:48 AM

this morning is pearl grey and mud paws.

and Autumn has had two baths so far this morning as she's been digging for that elusive opposum that lives under my shed.

Fabric softener white.

There's a misty fog that is making everything cozy and soft. Cold front rolling through tonight means I'll be sure to freshly launder our blankets today to make sure they are extra cuddly.

churning angry ocean blue-gray; or Civil War blue-gray.

I'm trying to remember that the rain will make the flowers grow.......

DanaC 01-30-2013 08:41 AM

...and the flowers can be dried out and smoked for a cool high, yeah...I like your thinking Tril.

Clodfobble 01-30-2013 08:52 AM

Today is bright and yellow, albeit with a slight haze of too much wind. We'll have swimming weather in another month, tops.

DanaC 01-30-2013 08:56 AM

Grey, with a hint of grey at the edges, underscored with a deep grey base...

Some greens and browns in there somewhere...hard to see through the hail.

If you're getting a cool Van Gogh effect, maybe you should take up painting. :D
