Vote? Where's the poll?

I can tell you my least favorite: The Incredible Hulk. Awful and disturbing.

I really don't think of TIH as a superhero. David Banner just ended up ODing on gamma rays, but he never actively did anything to turn his curse into advantage, like, say, Daredevil.

well, I almost named Transformers as my fave, but--are the Autobots "super heroes"?

lookout123 05-06-2008 08:30 PM

I think Batman has had the best movies.

or The Incredibles. They're freakin' awesome. I still have this mental image of LJ running around dressed as Mr Incredible though. Kind of disturbing really.

Batman has also had some of the worst. Think--Penguin. (shudders).

Superman is my favorite superhero, but none of the movies has lived up to the ideal.

Superhero movies come in so many different epochs, its hard to pick just one, because the advent of CG and the fact that they keep getting better and better at weaving plot and gee-whiz together means that they probably haven't even made my fave yet.

That said, I will always be partial to the first Superman movie w/Christopher Reeve. He was so perfect in the part. I can even forgive the godawful poetry Lois read.

Transformers was totally awesome, and yes, it is a superhero movie. X-Men #1 was stupendous as well, as was Spiderman 1.

Drax 05-06-2008 11:14 PM

IMO, Superman 3 was just stupid, and Superman 4 was terrible. Superman Returns was quite enjoyable. The plot coulda used some work tho.

I liked all 3 X-Men movies, although I thought 3 was better than 2, but 1 was the best.

All 3 Spiderman movies were great.

Transformers 2007? FTWMFW x 10!!!!!!!!!!!

actually, as long as you're not in the shower, or touching your wang in any way....even idly....that's quite a normal mental image. I have that same image throughout most of my work day. I imagine myself racing around and zooming all over in my tiny car, too.

I'll go Superman...jox on the outside n all that.

Cloud 05-07-2008 08:29 AM

I was going to mention dear Tom, but--it says "movie"! But, you know I'm all about the Clex.

None of the screen Supes (dearTom included) have really been big or beefy enough to fit the image I have of Superman.

Cloud 05-07-2008 08:30 AM

ooh, I forgot about Wolverine!

Unfortunately, George was in the homoerotic Batman movie. Not pretty.

Cloud 05-07-2008 08:44 AM

he was? (shocked that I missed that!) -- I don't even think I remember him as batman--who was his adversary?
