I'll start off by telling you about mine. Some of you have probably already figured it out if you read the entertainment thread. I'm a fan of a particular fantasy novel series, and there's a berry in them that's called "Aliantha". That's were I got my handle from.

I stole Capt. Fargon from a friend. My CB handle is Missin' Link that was layed on me by a Doctor in San Clemente Ca., because I'm built like a gorilla.

It's a shortened version of my dragon name. I think it means 'herald' in Greek.

after we saw the "beavis and butthead" movie me and my college roommate at the time talked like butthead and called each other beavis. i wish i was joking and no, marijuana was not involved.

Live in Florida now and my Chinese zodiak is a Dragon ... pretty silly when I consider that I don't believe in zodiak signs at all. Guess it could also be attributed to Piers Anthony and his fantasy Xanth novels since they are based in Florida, has dragons and all the rest of the world is "Mundania".... :D

I was trying to think of a name that summed up something about me. I'd been listening heavily to "I Got Dem Ol Kozmic Blues Again Mama" around then, and I'm a Pisces. So I chose KozmikFishGirl which is weird for me because I usually hate when things are misspelled, but it worked for me. But people have weird associations with fish and I got a lot of bizarre comments. Then I had a baby and didn't feel like a girl anymore. So I shortened it to Kozmique.

I think I have mentioned this elsewhere, but for SG ... :D

My handle is my initials plus 512. 512 being a power of two. It's less important/useful now, but when I first started programming you had to be familiar with the powers of 2 up through 2^16.
