OK...I've got a question for you dov. At some point in my life, I might become a BAC. Would that mean that I'd lose any of the intelligence I have left, or would it mean I never had any to begin with?

On a whole, lazy people are attracted to becoming bacs, take a bath, instant redemption, redemption the majority of the world works their asses off striving toward ideals most of their lives. Thanks UT. Heres amessage for dov, I may be to stupid to understand what you are talking about, but at least I know what I'm talking about. "Taking a bath" does not grant forgivness, only accepting Jesus as your personal lord and savior will. You also have to accept the fact that (I, we, you) are sinners and will always be sinners. I actually thought you were making the book of Zechariah up, but sure enough, there it was in the Bible that my puppy almost chewed up that was bestowed upon me by a kind Catholic Church Lady one night with the hope that I would start attending the local Sunday Mass. Alas, nice church lady has been and will continue to be disappointed (wonder if I should give her the Bible back except that its chewed? Oh, well.)

Now having seen this new kinder gentler approach I have been moved to read this Zechariah, and notwithstanding all the other fire and brinstone crap in the Old Testament, it sure seems like they're indicating disease and not nuclear annihilation. At the time they would have no clue to this future technology, but flesh would often rot that way via various plagues, and the story of particularly horrorful plagues would travel.

Nuclear annihilation wouldn't reference the consuming of the flesh so much as the burning of it. If God intended to indicate nuclear here, he was a poor writer, apparently unable to select words for clarity.
