The American Revolution is the most recent solid French victory (as a war) that I can think of off hand.

They won Verdun, too, though it worked against them later.

Due to their animosity with the English, the French were our biggest allies in the Revolutionary War.

I'm aware of that, but I'm asking about any specific military victory, not aid in general.

The only reason they helped was so that whoremaster Franklin, would go home.:D
