I'm not a big fan of that cutoff at 28 ... makes me feel a lot older to be in a whole 'nother category.

I see Bruce hasn't voted yet. C'mon, man, get with the program...I'm commanding the Ancient Bastard category at present.

xoxoxoBruce 03-07-2004 12:38 AM

Step aside, boy.:p

Elspode 03-07-2004 12:40 AM

Whew...thanks, man. I was feeling sort of hung out here. Gol' darn whippersnappers...

staceyv 03-07-2004 12:45 AM

how old are YOU, lumberjim?

zippyt 03-07-2004 12:51 AM

I'll be 41 in september

wolf 03-07-2004 12:54 AM

My current age is "The Answer."

Elspode 03-07-2004 01:01 AM

Yeah, but now you've got to find the Question to the Answer...

xoxoxoBruce 03-07-2004 01:04 AM

It's not polite to ask a lady her age. Hey Wolf, how much do you weigh? SLAM pitter patter, pitter patter, pitter patter.... :worried:

Elspode 03-07-2004 01:09 AM

I didnt' ask her...she volunteered her age. Thus the capitalization of "The Answer".

My statement is what you have to know in order to understand the meaning of The Answer, because it is rather incongruous.

Bruce knows I like giving prey a reasonable head start.

He also knows that, to paraphrase Danny Vermin, I have things that "shoot through schools."

And the answer is ... less than the last time you saw me.

Elspode 03-07-2004 01:20 AM

Someone got an extra copy of *anything* by the Farrars? Bruce needs to do some catch up reading.

wolf 03-07-2004 01:21 AM

I like starting people with Cunningham's "The Truth about Witchcraft Today."

The full version, not the $1 pamphlet size one, although that will do in a pinch.

Elspode 03-07-2004 01:29 AM

That's a good one for people who are predisposed to be afraid of witchy stuff, but not the best starting place for the truly curious, IMHO.

I do think that it was Cunningham's greatest contribution as a writer, though.

mrnoodle 03-07-2004 02:01 AM

My question is, how old is my weight? For that matter, how much does my age weigh? No one answers my questions. Where is the oracle?

Lady Sidhe 03-07-2004 12:32 PM

I'll be 33 in April.

Wait, is this how old we are chronologically, or how old we FEEL?

Sidhe

Steve Dallas can hook you up.

richlevy 03-07-2004 05:29 PM

Over 30 - "Paul McCartney was in a band before Wings."
Over 20 - "Paul McCartney was in a band?"
Under 20 - "Who's Paul McCartney?".

Griff 03-07-2004 07:19 PM

Okay, I'll just say it. I'm gonna be 40 this summer.

Sun_Sparkz 03-07-2004 10:42 PM

Im 21 this year.

:drunk:

elSicomoro 03-07-2004 10:51 PM

Isn't legal drinking age in Australia 18, though?

Sun_Sparkz 03-07-2004 11:01 PM

yes it is age 18 for drinking in Australia, i was just talking about the 21st _PARTY_.

althugh the drinking age is 18, most of Aus has been so heavily influenced by the American culture that our 21st party is the big one that we celebrate instead of the 18th.

That's sad!

(The drinking age was 18 in North Carolina, where I grew up, until I turned 17, when they raised it to 19, then 20, then 21! Very insulting.)

kerosene 03-08-2004 09:29 AM

I'm 26.

Vilia Sonoben 03-08-2004 11:06 AM

18 'til August. Nervous, squirmy age. All I can think about is applications and money and scores.

lumberjim 03-08-2004 11:34 AM

did you mean "scoring"?

ladysycamore 03-09-2004 09:46 AM

34 going on 84, and trying to hang on! :D

Vilia Sonoben 03-09-2004 11:04 AM

did you mean "scoring"?

Well not *completely* literally. You've got a virgin on your hands. The only score I ever get is on pac-man.

Cam 03-09-2004 11:11 AM

21 and trying to stay 17

mrnoodle 03-09-2004 10:35 PM

That's the caveat of winning virgins by suicide bombing. No one ever said they were attractive virgins. Hell, they could be as ugly as me.

xoxoxoBruce 03-09-2004 10:39 PM

See, that's what the Burka is for.;)

Elspode 03-09-2004 10:55 PM

So...who is our single 68-80+ range Cellarite? Or was someone just being a wiseass?

lumberjim 03-09-2004 11:26 PM

it wasn't you?

:)

it's tw, isn't it?

Wipe on, wipe off. It's a good relaxing technique. Try it some time.

As for being a sacrifice, let's hope it never comes to that. They'll never find me in my rat hole buried underneath layers of rotting hay.

lumberjim 11-08-2006 12:40 PM

here's the pole....er poll

skysidhe 11-12-2006 02:03 PM

I am older than dirt.

farfromhome 11-12-2006 11:11 PM

Life is good. Enjoy life. I'm soon to turn 47. Laugh. Enjoy the company of your friends and family. Take chances. Do it. It's worth it. Don't be complacent. Keep moving. Don't be afraid.

admirallpj 11-25-2006 02:55 AM
