Chap, a five-month-old monkey, wears a Santa Claus outfit at an amusement park in Tokyo December 19, 2003. According to the Chinese astrological calendar, the upcoming year is the year of monkey.

At least you didn't wish for us to live in interesting times.
<Chinese bad luck wish for non-Asians> Seriously, those were cute pictures of polar bears. Brian |

The red fruit in the first of the candle images are cranberries. We grow lots of them in parts of Oregon, New Jersey and Wisconsin. Here are some photos of harvest this year on the Oregon coast at my friend's farm.

It's red Cranberry sea. So much cranberry!
|
From what we've heard over here <b>Billy</b>, the food in your pictures is far more than the average Chinese has to eat in a week.
But them babies, now them's good eatin'! I don't have to blow my Atkins! |
NBN, you MEAN!
|
A sea of red is right - harvest is in Oct so my friend always calls it Red October.
|
These foreign fuits are more and more popular in China supmarkets. I someties buy some green New Zealand & Japan apples.
