Tom Cruise.

First dude ... nose too big, too furry, proportions generally seem off. Not really attractive.

LL ... doesn't do it for me either.

Tom Cruise ... has gotten way too angular.

What can I say. (*shrug*) I only have eyes for slang. :joylove:

daniwong 12-20-2003 12:40 PM

Tom Cruise is icky. I'd rather have Nicole Kidman.

Me too.

Different strokes for different folks. I like Tom Cruise; the wet T shirt is hunkful. And, I like the hairy, atheletic type.

I don't know - I don't find the typical "hunk" guys that sexy. I'm such a geek groupie - normal looking guys with flaws all the way for me.

Some of my favorites:
Silent Bob - love him - he's sooo cute.
Jackie Chan
Jet Li (I'm asian - shoosh)
Orlando Bloom as an elf - mmmmm
Fred Durst (don't ask - that bad boy thing)

And then there are the women:
Jeri Ryan (7 of 9 - have a poster of her in my bedroom - figure its for me and the BF - LOL)
Nicole Kidman
Lita on WWF (not the new corrupted WWE - yuk)
Madonna before all the new stuff (pre-ray of light)

elSicomoro 12-21-2003 01:26 PM

I've been told on several occasions that I look like Silent Bob, particularly when I have my overcoat on. ;)

Hey...me too.

Before I grew a beard, I used to be mistaken for...*seriously*...mistaken for Meatloaf.

Hmmm...Not good. Meatloaf is akin to chopped liver.

Eh.

Worth a second look, but not somebody I'd tackle and have my way with in public.

There is such a thing as too cut. And not knowing them personally is a minus, too, because to me, personality is 95% of the attractiveness factor.

Beletseri 12-22-2003 07:35 AM

Absolutely right OC - visuals aren't enough. To me, someone that is that cut sends off alarm bells. He's going to be so into himself and the gym that I won't rise to a worthwhile place on his radar. Besides, I'm figuring someone that looks like that is bound to be gay. I know, I know, I'm making assumptions.

OnyxCougar 12-22-2003 10:00 AM

Yeah, you're right, Bel. Having spent many many hours in the gym in my youth (I was a bodybuilder for awhile), I can tell you that lifestyle (and it IS a lifestyle) is pretty all consuming.

My current sedentary lifestyle produces at least a little bit of body fat by default. (In my case a WHOLE LOT of body fat, but I digress...) I work at a desk job, then come home and sit at the computer or (for the remaining hour a week,) in front of the TV.

The only way to stay cut like that requires hours at the gym, and I'm WAY too high maintenance (time and attention-wise). I suppose I could go to the gym too (and I probably should, just to get to a point where I'm healthy again).

I've talked to the husband, and in February (my 6 months at this new job mark and when we get an employee discount at the gym), we're going to join a gym together, and go for 1 hour 3 times a week. I told him the only way I'm going is if they have an indoor pool. I love the water. He said I'll find him at the weights. So starting in February it's "diet and exercise" time.

Besides...we're having the "big wedding" in 4 years, and I've promised myself I WILL walk down the aisle in a size 12 dress. I also promised myself a boob lift (I've got DDs, I just need to put em back where they go) if I get down to 155, where I look goooooood.

Beletseri 12-22-2003 10:51 AM

OC, take a look at low carb eating. Exercise alone is a hard way to get in shape, you also have to eat right. Don't be fooled by the hype about low carb being all about bacon though. I eat a ton of veggies (the low carb ones) and make good choices for meats. The main things that go are processed foods high in whites (flour and sugar). I've lost about 20#s this year and haven't felt hungry once. I've got about 8 - 10 more to go to get into a size 6.

wolf 12-22-2003 12:02 PM

I also have little doubt as to the extreme gayness of the young man in Chris' picture. Some folks just set my gaydar off ...

I've known too many conventionally attractive people that are total shitheads. Personality first, looks second.
