Curious: what type of camera did you use (and I'm guessing you didn't use a tripod for the no-flash shot)?

Sorry, the shutterbug in me had to ask. ;)

OnyxCougar 12-06-2003 12:46 AM

I have a Kodak DX3600 2.2 megapixel. no tripod. sorry about the blur.

Chris.

OK OK! I admit that didn't work (I tried ;) ) so here's my plan 'B'

Chris.

xoxoxoBruce 12-23-2003 05:30 PM

Some people are more creative than others with their lights.

Beletseri 12-23-2003 05:41 PM

Hmm... other thank looking like it belongs in Roger Rabbit, that's not bad.

But I've been swamped with that crap they call "real life"

Here's the tree that Brian put up for us this Year.

Btw - interesting fog effect was due to a digital camera being brought in from a cold car to a very warm house. :eek3:

Enjoy!:D

Happy Monkey 01-04-2004 10:20 PM

...here. Oops.

lumberjim 01-04-2004 11:46 PM

all oragami ornaments. I assume you made these, monkey. Do you have a job? how could you possibly have that much spare time?! And what kind of a tree ( or shrub) is that?

Happy Monkey 01-05-2004 06:55 AM

Actually my mother made most of the ornaments over the course of several years. I can do complicated origami, but my precision isn't up to snuff for an ornament. It's the family tree - I don't put one up in my condo. It's a spruce of some sort, cut from the lot at my parents' weekend home in West Viriginia.

wolf 01-01-2005 11:37 AM

HM, that is truly amazing!

lumberjim 01-01-2005 11:57 AM

and potentially marketable

xoxoxoBruce 01-01-2005 03:55 PM

I can just see hundreds of oriental children folding tape for 7 cents a day.
And ...um....yeah...

Happy Monkey 01-01-2005 08:25 PM

That's the only way it would work. As it is, it takes me just over half a season of Buffy or two or three LOTR commentary tracks to make one..

Happy Monkey 12-26-2005 05:35 PM

Here's this year's.

Happy Monkey 12-27-2005 03:05 PM

Thanks!

xoxoxoBruce 12-28-2005 12:35 AM

Beautiful, HM. Sure couldn't be any taller. :headshake
