What's your best GIS (Google Image Search) image?
Start with a personal/weird/funny phrase for searching. No fair using unoriginality. Best image gets a lick from the <b>Roman War Dog</b>...

Oh yeah, I forgot. Extra credit if your search terms include your screen name.
Here is what I found for Nothing But Net: <img src="http://alaskaoutdoorjournal.com/Departments/Photo/Images/00drift2kings.jpg"> <img src="http://www.nothingbutnet.com/takeyourshot.gif"> <img src="http://starbulletin.com/1999/06/07/news/wild.jpg"> Here is what came up for Undertoad: <img src="http://www.just4yucks.com/images/5x/59015.gif"> Funny, that's kind of the way I always imagined him. There are many good ones for UT, in fact. Check out the Chicago band for sure. |
You imagined him as the green monster in the surf, or the fat bloated guy on the beach?
It looks like that Chicago band has undertoad.com and they are representin' it well. I actually listened to the MP3 they have at IUMA and it's interesting and original. |

Well, since my handle is based on the word "spode", which my friends and I coined as a derogatory term for a vacuous moron whilst in junior high (only later to find out that it was in fact the name of a renowned family of china makers), I searched on that. The most interesting thing I found (besides gazillions of photos of awesome porcelain ware) *does* have a picture, but is more meaningful if you actually look at the whole page, http://jubal.westnet.com/hyperdiscordia/spode.html , which I find to be eerily appropriate.
I also discovered that there are crazed backcountry motocross free-for-alls called "Spodefests" in Idaho and Utah, and some trio of female musicians that have something or other to do with the word 'spode'. Really, though, the most interesting single image I found was the one below, which depicts the Spode family tombs in England. |
I'm in. Of 49 pages of thumbnails, the one that blew my skirt up led me to this. Actually the one I liked best was 404.:(

Third for philly cheesesteak
http://www.markshields.com/images/20...ia-pa-3231.jpg This is why you don't go to the tourist steaks. |
"Steve Dallas" and variants return mostly Bloom County-related stuff, which I don't consider that interesting for purposes of this contest.
But "completely useless" brought up this one. http://developer.novell.com/research.../cover0210.jpg I confess, I didn't read enough of the page to discover a) why the words "completely" and "useless" were involved, and b) what a woman shooting a bow has to do with Novell development. |

By searching on Silver Wolf (which is what the apostrophe in 'Wolf expands out to) I find ...

Damn Wolf, the snake is kind of cool but that next picture is really scary. Maybe you should have put a NSFW tag or even NSFchildren on that one. Is it a halloween costume?:D

dropping 187 yields some nice results.
whole GIS here |
Wow, that is so much better than mine, which yields a bunch of aging Sicilian mobsters and some lady who tap dances.

Note to all non-Philadelphians: Pat's may be the most overrated cheesesteak place in town. Fucking horrible...eating your own feces might taste better.
For sycamore, well, the obvious: http://msdelta.net/~sycamore/cellar/sycamoretree.jpg For T-money, a photo of Rho shows up, though it is apparently no longer on Rho's website. Other than her, the search just shows a bunch of turds trying to gain fame off my name. |
A search for russotto reveals a bunch of dull images, but there's always this one:

As you might imagine, my screen name turns up a whole lotta pages in German, most of them having to do with sighthounds - greyhounds, Borzoi, Afghans, Salukis, etc.
Then there's the 116th Panzer Division, for whom "Windhund" is apparently a nickname: |

Here's a couple of the dog images that came up, the first one goofy, the second one a painting that as a dog lover I found a bit disturbing:

OK, so happy monkeys aren't all that hard to find in GIS. (See my homepage for my version) added: Hey, cool! I'm on page 8 of the GIS. |
Turds? Oh, you must mean citizens of Turdistan.
Bitman is fairly common, let's see if any are interesting: http://www.extratainment.com/images/press/bitman.gif He's a captain, even. http://www.umich.edu/~umrowing/alumn...ers/bitman.jpg Y'know, I e-bumped into a guy named Bitman before, I dunno if that's him. http://lib1.store.vip.sc5.yahoo.com/...rog/bitman.gif There's even a gadget named after me. So I guess the answer is .. no, not really. |

"Hot Pastrami" came up wit a few, a couple of them troubling. There's the obvious:
http://www.pastrami.net/images/pastsand64color.gif ...and then there's this dude: http://www.pastramisandwich.com/images/outside.jpg Heheh... Meat Market. And then a bunch of pictures of plus-size women eating. Hmm. Click the photo for more, though I don't recommend it, it's pretty troubling, especcialy in the dessert section: http://pages.prodigy.net/rarebird/bash3/Clml_e11.jpg |
'thug life' dredges this 'un up
http://www.artnet.com/magazine/featu.../jenkins5s.jpg rabid life:( ? |
HP, had to check out your link to the Big Girls:eek: . I couldn't believe the size of the portions of food, but even worst how they managed to clean their plates! I'm not bagging on big people (I'm pretty big too), but shit I would have puked:vomit: way before dessert. I think the strawberry shortcake one was a little scary.

Thank god, something new to help me waste time at work. It's ironic - the more work I have to do, the less of it actually gets accomplished during the day. How long until my guilt stops making me work at home late at night?
Anyway, here is a photo from searching for "paper cut," which I did because I just got one. <IMG SRC="http://www.onekama.k12.mi.us/e2002/g5/art.cut.paper.6in21.JPG"><P> Made me laugh, loud enough that my editor lifted her head and stared at me. |

(cough) Well, OK... she's the looks in this outfit. And the brains. That reminds me, I never posted any wedding pictures like I meant to... that way, you could all look at them and pretend not to be bored to tears about it. I'll try to remember to post one or two when I get home tonight. |
Welcome b-news. You won't know the extent of work-based guilt, until you've worked for yourself and put off, for a month, a few hours of work that you know you could bill for $1000 the next day.
That only happened once, until I realized how utterly ridiculous I was being. Now, I only put off things like updates for our Sycamore's blog view web page. That, I can put off for weeks without feeling guilty at all, because he never emails me to ask where it is and when it will be done. Also, my mom's website updates. That I can feel doubly guilty about because it's mom. |

Try tech support overseas (my parents live in Taiwan): their computer, camera, etc., etc. are all in chinese, and they have equipment I've never even heard of before. And they call my brothers and me, 7,000 miles away, for help. |
Yeah, welcome Bnews. Did you come to the US for school and decide to stay? Do you have self esteem issues that caused you to pick NJ?:D

My parents moved here way back in the day, and when I left for college, they went back overseas. Therefore I am from the US, and I don't have self-esteem issues directly related to growing up in the shining star of this country. :3eye: e |
Oh, you grew up in Joisey. Dat splain it.:D
You know, I've heard that "When I came home from school my parents had moved" story before, but I thought it was a joke. ;) |
I notice you're from Philly Suburbs. That's a great country, and I happen to work there. Where exactly?

Beautiful downtown Delaware County. Eat yer heart out.:D
