This league has become very very good.

The parity, the drama, the fucking amazing camera work. Good God., man.

I very nearly shipped my pants last Sunday night watching Tony Romo reach down the throat of the Giants and extract a win with 7 seconds to go. As I write this, I'm witness to the Broncos pulling even with less than a minute, and then grabbing a fumble, return touch down....

27 seconds for the Chiefs to perform a miracle..... And I would not be surprised....

It is compelling when neither Goodell nor the Patriots are involved. The league needs to stay out of its own way... and pot quit suspending dudes for pot.

I wrote the Denver-KC game off at halftime. My buddy said "If something doesn't happen soon, Ima read a book.". I left and came home. I\we could not have been more wrong, apparently.

I did pick Denver, though, so, :D.

On offense, I think its more the interior O-line that sucks. The play-calling has also been horrible. WTF is with the setup they are using. They have the QB and the RB standing next to each other and then the QB hands the ball to the RB as the defenders pour through and tackle him for a 3-5 yard loss. Rinse & repeat till nauseous. Srsly. I was there. The Eagles suck in every facet of the game. ugghhh - almost as bad as my fantasy team which is a nightmare only.

Ok. But when a fan runs on the field, the camera never showed him. I wanted to see the spectacle.... But I guess they don't want to show it in order to dissuade future attempts...

I was just saying the exact same thing to my wife.

I'm not going to run out onto the field, so don't punish me by not showing it.

It lasted a long time and sounded like quite the spectacle. I wanted to see it.

The general sentiment here in Kansas City is, "FUCK ANDY REID AND ALEX SMITH! RUN THEM OUT OF TOWN NOW! I WILL NEVER WATCH THIS TEAM AGAIN!!!"

I am not quite there. The Chiefs are not awful, but they do rely on Jamaal Charles too much, and Alex Smith cannot throw TDs. Now Charles is probably out for the year. I don't think this is as bad as 2012 (where fans wore black and a friend of mine organized a "Fire Pioli" banner to fly over Arrowhead), but it's not good. I just don't know if Andy is the man to make this engine go.

It still looks weird to me, given that I'm still an Eagles fan. The fans loved him initially, but this team has suffered for so long...they want to see a win in the playoffs.

Andy was effective at everything but drafting... however we did tire of his press conferences in which he would say nothing

People here are pissed about his simple "I take the blame" for whatever goes wrong, which he also did in Illadelph. Shit, how often does someone actually take blame?

Crazy finish for the Steelers. Apparently the clock mislaid 18 seconds to make turn the pressure up even more. The clock runoff would explain the casual approach at the beginning of the drive. Vick got the job done but he will have some serious bruises today. He is truly a different qb in 2 minute situations. We're lucky to have Bell and Bell is lucky he broke the plane because no way he slips in the timeout to kick the game tying.

That was insane. Amazing douchebaggery from Burfect ends the Bengals season.

That was instant karma from him running up the tunnel with 1:43 or whatever left after he made that interception. Jerky.
He's been accused of taking dirty shots before. Not a good guy.

That game was so disorienting. The offense struggled putting our 14 year old rookie kicker on the spot for 4 field goals in the rain. Bryant made an amazing touchdown catch after a brilliant run by Brown. Then the defense started playing too soft and the Bengals made a great comeback while Ben was on the bench because he couldn't throw the long ball. Burfict picks off Jones. The game was lost and Burfict was the Cincy hero. Shazier made yet another great play, Ben comes out throwing dink and dunk, and Burfict loses his damn mind blowing a whole season of work. He may well have gotten his coach fired to top it off. Boomer was truly embarrassed during post-game, both he and Cowher called for Marvin Lewis' head.

They should have suspended him for the same number of games as the total of all the games missed by all of his victims, plus the three.

The Steelers went with Artie Burns an extremely raw extremely athletic underclassman CB with a sad back story. The have a need and think this kid will train up. I always trust Pittsburgh on draft day.

I'm a fan, but I have no faith in my team. Bradford has shown why I NEVER liked him.
He's a loser inside and he plays like it. Now he isn't gonna play like it just the same.
Hope they cut/trade/drop/whatever him.
Let Chase start a few games and then the new kid.

Bradford is untradeable. He'll be there for mandatory training camp. And he'll start game 1. He'll be booed unmercifully as soon as he throws his first errant pass, and the fans will clamor for Carson. Best case scenario is that Wentz has a great preseason, and supplants Sammy Sleeves in week 3. Vegas over /under odds are that he starts in 3.5 weeks.
