September 18, 2013: The McEverything

http://cellar.org/2013/mceverything.jpg

These days, including the breakfast offerings, McDonald's offers 43 different sandwiches. So this dude (his website is called "Dude Foods") decided to create one big sammich consisting of all 43 combined.

Quote:

After all 43 sandwiches were finished and sitting at my table I got to work putting the McEverything together. I originally anticipated it only being a couple of feet high, but as you can see from the pictures it ended up MUCH taller than that. I took a few photos along the way as well just so the whole thing wouldn’t be a total waste if ended up tumbling over onto the floor before I finished stacking all the sandwiches on top of one another. Oh, and if you’re wondering how I held the entire thing together the answer is bamboo skewers… lots and lots of bamboo skewers….

Aside from keeping the McEverything from toppling over as I was assembling it I’d say that the hardest part of building it was not eating any of the sandwiches until it was complete. I’m a total sucker for McDonald’s sandwiches, especially their McGriddles.

Now, I know that some of you are probably reading this right now and thinking to yourself “Man, what kind of idiot spends $143 on 43 McDonald’s sandwiches?” The way I see it though is that with all the leftovers I have I’ve got all my breakfasts, lunches and dinners covered for the next week or so!

The McPhallic. I mean, just check out his expression and the way he is holding his sandwich(es). :)

That's not a single sandwich though...it's just a fuck off big tower of them.

Not only that but look closely, the back of his trousers have already split open to be prepared to accept the wonderfulness of the mighty MacProducts. ah. . .

Why not? That shit NEVER goes bad, because even the microbes don't want it.

Happy Monkey 09-18-2013 04:06 PM

It goes bad very quickly. I find it decent if I eat it in the restaurant, but it becomes gross in the time it takes to get it home.

It may not, however, go worse.

Thank god that Buddhist is spending money on hamburgers rather than shotguns.

I never used that name. Do you mean Drax?

That was a poor choice of using bamboo skewers. I would have strung them out in fishing line and hung the line from something above them. You would not have to "hold" it upright and look all creepy and I think it would have been easier and less expensive then skewers.

He's talking about another user who also showed back up recently after a time away from the board. Just coincidence.

Just found Adak in the member list. Rather empty profile.

He's fairly active in the politics forum when he's here.

blueboy56 09-20-2013 09:45 AM

Wait, wait, wait. . . how did we go from Big Mac's to politics, and besides, can you imagine the amount of "special sauce" that would be found in that big of a, um, stack?

Sundae 09-20-2013 11:12 AM

I'd be interested in knowing what 43 they are.
I'd hazard we can get 20 tops in this country. And is it worldwide, or just America?

Oh and I'm not going on about wasted food.. the fact I have no confidence in my typing is evidence I've wasted enough time and money on my own wastage.
