Help me win a new mixer!

All you have to do is click on the link below and vote, then if you like, you can share on your facebook page. I've entered the cake I made for Mav's last birthday. :)

Here is the link

I hope it works from here.

Major luck, you do make a mean cake.

xoxoxoBruce 07-11-2013 09:13 AM

jimhelm 07-11-2013 10:57 AM

fargon 07-11-2013 02:01 PM

glatt 07-11-2013 02:23 PM

jimhelm 07-11-2013 02:49 PM

orthodoc 07-11-2013 07:21 PM

Well, it's one more than six, innit it?
Although the '69' is a good argument.

Seven could be better, depending if you're giving or getting. And where.

Sundae 07-12-2013 03:28 PM

Ali, that cake is 15 different kinds of wonderful.

Aliantha 07-15-2013 05:13 AM

Thanks Sundae. You're very kind. xx

xoxoxoBruce 07-15-2013 12:20 PM

Have to agree, your cake imagination is above and beyond the average drop-bear. But I still haven't found a way to vote without joining facebook... I'd buy you a damn mixer before that happens. :haha:

Aliantha 07-15-2013 05:43 PM

Haha...its ok bruce. You find out who really gives a shit on fb when you ask for votes repeatedly and no one bothers. I am not going to win, so theres no need to worry. ;)

Aliantha 07-15-2013 05:45 PM

I have Mav and Max to thank for the cakes requiring imagination. They show me pics and i have to figure out how to turn it into a cake. lol. Some are easier than others.

Sundae 07-16-2013 10:48 AM

Bruce probably would buy you a damn mixer if'n he didn't have to ship it halfway around the world. He's that kinda guy.

Anyway, only insane people win online "popularity" competitions.
I've only ever won one online and that was just a random pick.
It was a bra and knicker set way to small for me that I sold on eBay :ggw:

Lola Bunny 07-16-2013 11:16 PM

I hope I voted on the right one. It's the dinosaur one, right?

Aliantha 07-17-2013 07:39 AM

Charmelion Lola. But yes, thats the one. It's an anime character apparently. Just like Pikachu. ;)

Sundae 07-17-2013 01:00 PM

Damn, used my one and only Pokemon joke years back.

glatt 07-17-2013 01:29 PM

I didn't even have to click the link to remember that joke. I've gotten a lot of mileage out of that one, and owe it all to you.

Aliantha 07-17-2013 05:52 PM

Thats a great joke. People still crack up when i tell it. Thats the good thing about having little kids again. I can recycle all these corny jokes. lol

Lola Bunny 08-04-2013 09:53 PM

Did you win the mixer, Ali?

Sundae 08-06-2013 05:21 AM

Not wanting to put words into Ali's mouth, but I'm guessing the answer is No.

Just to turn the whole thing around so it is about me, me, me...
I've entered a competition to win a Baby Belling oven.
Special promotional version in baby pink and blue (Royal birth thing I guess.)

It's a draw, not something you can vote on.
But one day... one day... one day... Diz and I will have our own tiny living space and these things just tick so many boxes for spaces like studio flats. In case this doesn't translate it means living in a single room with a pull down bed, a small area in the corner designated as a kitchen and a separate bathroom.

Lickle counter top oven with two hobs on top frees up space.
That and a toaster and a microwave. You can cook the whole world. In small portions.
